Is your lens dirty?

I heard an Christian artist say yesterday  that it shouldn't matter to offend other Christians that we should be more interested in the lost. But living like the WORLD will not make them WANT to change and live for Christ. How can we be a light to the world if our lens is dirty?

Sweet and bitter water can not flow from the same well.  James 3:10-13 says

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

Reaching the lost is very important, but not to the expense of turning Christ into another regular man. So in saying that reaching the lost is more important than offending a Christian is NOT being a Christian. It is using the GRACE that we live under to excuse their behavior.

Romans 14:13 - Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in [his] brother's way

1 Corinthians 8:9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
Matthew-18-6-9

So is your lens so dirty that your light cannot shine into a world so dark it needs Jesus? The alter is there for repentance.  It's not to late.
