Just think about that for a minute. What would this world be like if there was no need for Christmas? The TRUE meaning of Christmas, not the way it has been hijacked by people just wanting to make money.
It is true that no one knows when Jesus was born. It is also true that the Catholic Church set the date for the celebration of His birth. It true again that the Winter Solstice was celebrated at this time. This is the main reason that the "church" chose that day to celebrate Jesus' birth.
The truth is, no matter when Jesus was born, His birth was foretold by Micah and Isaiah. His birth was exactly how it was supposed to be. Is it to hard to believe that God can and DID move things in His timing for the Messiah to come as a babe? Not really. Nothing is impossible for Jehovah.
Fast forward to Passover. A sinless man who is the Son of God, who is God himself, let Himself be beaten and killed. Just the thought of the agony of those 6 hours on the cross is hard to even contemplate. Yet He stayed there for me. He was placed in a tomb and a guard was set over Him. HE went to Hell and took back the keys of hell and the grave.
Christmas is when a BABY came to earth. Passover is when a Fully grown man was killed. Resurrection Morning also known as Easter was when the SAVIOR of the world walked out of the tomb Victorious!
